What's New
March 2010 ~ Quickie & Lindsey have been selected to participate in the
George Williams clinic at the NW Horse Expo March 19-21 in Albany, OR. They will be
riding on Sunday from 3-4pm. We look forward to seeing everyone down there!

February 2010 ~ Scottsdale has come and gone.....and what a blast!
Quickie's first trip to this historical show proved one not to be forgotten. Lindsey and Quickie
were 6-6 including 3rd Level Dressage Champion, 4th Level Dressage Champion,
3rd Level High Point, 4th Level High Point & SHUS Open Champion. He was also Champion
SHUS AATR with our friend, Carrie Olson. Another great high-light to this show was getting
2nd place in the In-Hand Stallions ATH and getting that much needed last point  for his Legion
of Masters (++++) We are very honored to now own one of less then ten living purebred
stallions with all of the AHA awards. Congrats to everyone on such a spectacular show!
There is also another new face for the SHARK family. We welcome our new little
Golden Retriever puppy Rusty!

January 2010 ~ Happy New Year to everyone!!
Unfortunately, our year has gotten off to a rough start. Our baby girl bobcat, Dylan, had an
accident and broke her leg. Surgery wasn't an option for her, so she had to have the leg
amputated. Fortunately, she has a great attitude and hasn't missed a beat. It's great to own an
animal with such an outstanding disposition!

December 2009 ~ Another great show season has come to an end. Quickie got a couple
honors this month. He was named USEF Horse of the Year in Region 4 & Region 5 for
Arabian Sport Horse and Region 5 Arabian Dressage 2-4 Levels. He was also nominated
by Arabian Times Magazine for Sport Horse of the Year. We feel very honored to be in
this distinguished group of horses.
Happy Holidays!!

November 2009 ~ Quickie gets the honor of spending the month of November is sunny San
Diego training with the world famous Steffen Peters. Lindsey and Quickie made the long haul
down to his beautiful farm Arroyo Del Mar where they will be riding with the top Dressage

September 2009 ~ We are very happy to announce that our dear friend and trainer Lindsey
Anderson has now become a part owner of Quick Silver Bey. We can't wait to see where this
new partnership goes. Watch for this dynamic duo to debut the 2010 show season at Scottsdale.

August 2009 ~ Our 2009 show season has come to an end. We finished with a very successful
Region 4 Championship in Stallions In-Hand Open. Kyle and Quickie are still undefeated at the

HALF a
point away from his Legion of Masters (++++) Way to go boys!! Puppies are here!

July 2009 ~ Lindsey and Quickie make their local open show debut at
Champagne Classic.  They score a 67.143% in 2-4 Open and placed second . Then it was off
to the Andreas Hausberger Clinic. Mr. Hausberger is the chief rider at the Spanish Riding
School in Vienna, Austria. The clinic was held at Raflyn Farms in Snohomish, WA. Mr.
Hausberger adored Quickie and schooled many of the FEI movements including piaffe/passage.
It was amazing to watch! We are also very proud to announce the arrival of our new beautiful
bay filly out of WCF Mariah and Quickie, Wicked Quick.

June 2009 ~ We are very excited about our two newest additions to the SHARK family.

November 2008 ~ We finally decided on a new farm name. When we owned our facility in
Orting, we were Whispering River Ranch. Since moving to Roy, we haven't had a name. We
decided on SHARK Sport Horses. A lot of people have asked how we came to that name. It
actually stands for the first letter in each of our names. S-Steve  H-Heidi  A-Avery  R-Roz
K-Kyle. It was a name that just seemed to fit as soon as we thought of it.

October 2008 ~ Lindsey takes Quickie to Trilogy Farms for the Conrad Schumacher Clinic.
They get two rides with the living legend. Thanks for such a great opportunity!

September-October 2008 ~ On the road again, it's time for Nationals!
After making the 12 hour drive to Nampa ID, we finally arrive and settle into what is going
to be our home for the next two weeks. Since Nationals and USDF Region 6 Championships
are being held at the same facility, we decide to stay there between the shows instead
of making the long drive home and back. Nationals is great. Quickie is named
Reserve National Champion Second Level Dressage Open. He also wins Top Ten's in
In-Hand Open, ATH and First Level Dressage. Lindsey & Quickie also got the honor
of carrying the AHA Flag during Opening Ceremonies.  What a blast!
Khadet is named Reserve National Champion Prix St. Georges and Top Ten Show Hack
Open (3rd). Then it's time for Region 6. Quickie makes his open show dressage debut at the
pre-show and scores a 66.429% in Second Level Open. Out of a large class of warmblood's,
Quickie gets second. Khadet is named USDF Region 6 Champion I-1 Freestyle and
Reserve Champion I-1 Open. Not a bad way to end the show season!
